No men's meeting or ladies meeting in Dec due to the holidays. We will meet on our regular meetings in January. We will be posting speakers for January next month.

The Men's Fellowship meeting and breakfast will be October 6th at 8 a.m. , at 328 Church St., Fyffe, Al. Keith Hudson from Agape Christian Fellowship in Alexandria, Al. will be the speaker. Keith has a jail ministry and has worked with The Transformers, a group of young men from the church. Come and join the men for a time of fellowship, hear the Word and have a great breakfast at a local restaurant.

Sabra will be teaching on numerology this Wednesday at 7.

Saturday morning at 9 the women are having breakfast and a special speaker! All are invited!! Tina Pike will be sharing her testimony Wednesday at 7p.m. come and hear how The Lord has worked in her life.

Wednesday Bible Study will be a dvd of Fresh Oil New Wine at 7p.m. . Sunday April 30th, Richard Pope will be speaking, followed by fellowship dinner.

We have three weeks left in our Ministry Gifts teaching. Do you know what you are called to do in the Kingdom of God?

Sabra Gann just finished a series on You and Your Household Will Be Saved. At this time I don't know the next course of study for this class. The War Room class has five weeks.

This Wednesday will be our last Foundation Class, wow 28 lessons will be finished! Those in this class will be starting the War Room study and those that already took that class will be starting something else. I don't know at this time what they will be studying. Come join us and see what the course of study will be.

April 22 we will be hosting our first Passover Seder at 6:30 p.m. . We only have 10 more tickets for this event at $15 each with the cut off date Monday the 18th. If you are interested please call 256-717-9075 asap, as these will sell out quickly!!! There will be no ladies meeting this month due to having the Passover Seder, it will resume on the 4th Saturday in May. We only have 4 more weeks of our Firm Foundation class and then we will do The War Room study. Plans are being made for the class that is doing The War Room study now. Our Firm Foundation class has 6 more weeks of study. We are learning so much new information in this book from what I even got in the first book I studied several years ago. Pastor Mike's class is doing the War Room study and have about 6 weeks left in that study. I will be doing that class next with those that have been in the Firm Foundation class. We have a Men's Breakfast the first Saturday of each month with Terry Haynes leading. The men go out to breakfast after their meeting with the Lighthouse paying for their meal. The Women's Breakfast is the 4th Saturday of each month with speakers from some of the area churches and our own ladies. We have a time of fellowship and eating together at the church at our meetings. We pray that this helps those who are looking for a place to worship and would love to see you at The Lighthouse Of Hope Church!

Our Firm Foundation class is going strong with some dedicated ladies. Sabra Gann is doing a teaching on Freedom From Sin. She will be teaching for about five more weeks. Our men have a meeting this Saturday the 9th with Terry Haynes bringing the devotion. It starts at 8a.m. with breakfast following the meeting. January 30th the women are meeting at 9a.m. with Monica Lyons speaking. Breakfast will be served at the church following the meeting. All are welcomed, hope to see you there!

We started a Firm Foundation class that covers basic Bible knowledge. When finished you should know what you believe and where to find it in the Bible. With this study you should be able to disciple new Christians. We also have a class on God's Time Clock by Randy Caldwell. Come and join us. All classes start at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

This week will be a study about the office of the Pastor. Much of this was covered in the study of the elder or overseer, but there is always more to learn!

Wednesday the 17th the pastor will be starting a study on church leadership. Join us at 7 p.m. and learn what each office in the church is called to do.

Wednesday at 7p.m. Sabra Gann will be teaching on the Seder Passover. She has received some new insights into the Word and will be sharing them with us. Come and study together with us at the Lighthouse of Hope Church in Rainsville, Al. Hope to see you there!

May 2 at 8 am will be the next men's meeting with breakfast at Ryan's, paid for by the church. The men are having a very good time gathering to hear the Word followed by fellowship over breakfast. Hope to see more men come and be apart. It is open to any man that wants to attend no matter where you worship on Sunday or maybe don't attend anywhere regularly.
